Restaurant La Cueva’s
You couldn’t have a more unique experience than eating in a cave! Based in the remote area of Anaga, many locals in the area still actually live in caves. This quaint restaurant specialises in Canarian cuisine and is perched up in the hill tops. Not only will you indulge in some local favourites such as churros de pescado – aka fish goujons and smoked goats cheese – but you’ll be surrounded by some mesmerising views, too.
Lay back and watch the sunset from the candlelit beach or eat under the glittering stars at Kabuki. Situated just outside the Abama Hotel in Guia de Isora, this is one of two Michelin-starred restaurants open to non-hotel residents, and trust us – it’s magical. They specialise in Western and Japanese cuisine, and it takes fine dining to a whole new level. It’s the perfect place to take that someone special, and with an extensive ‘Wine Art’ menu, you’ll never want to leave.
El Rincon de Juan Carlos
Ranking as one of Tenerife’s top restaurants it’s a dining experience that’ll blow you away. Head chef Juan Carlos was even one of the finalists in the best chef in Spain competition – and with a menu to rival some of the finest restaurants in the world, this is a gastronomic memory that’ll stay with you forever. With tasty oysters, zesty desserts and meats grilled to perfection, you’ll be in a foodie heaven. It’s a hidden gem based in Los Gigantes and every bite will surprise you – the meaning of gourmet cuisine is about to be taken to a whole new level.

Las Águilas Jungle Park
This authentic jungle is the home to over 300 animals, with birds even flying freely above your head. You can even witness soaring humans too, with the High Dive show – featuring amazing stunts at 25m high! If that wasn’t exciting enough, you can be a dare devil yourself by having a go at the Jungle Raid, which will see you rope-swinging through the trees like your new-found furry friends. You’ll spot your favourite animal in here for sure with penguins, pumas and hippos all to be found – it’s safe to say it’s more than just a zoo!
Cueva del Viento
This is an underground complex calling your name, and it’s certainly a rare experience. This is the largest lava tube in Europe, a volcanic cone located alongside Mount Teide. You’ll get to explore how lava runs through the mountain – it’s a caving adventure like no other! You’ll hear stories about how the cave was discovered and the history behind it, and your adrenaline will be pumping with this thrilling trip into the underground passages of geomorphic beauty.
Teide National Park
Centred on Mount Teide, the highest peak in Spain, is Teide National Park. It’s the biggest park in the Canary Islands and an absolute must-see. The visitor centres will share some park secrets and island stories. There’s a range of bars and restaurants, and it’s safe to say they have some of the best panoramic views you could possibly imagine. It’s one of the great wonders of the world – and a geological treasure which dominates the Tenerife landscape. It’s the perfect hiking location and trust us, you won’t mind getting lost on this picturesque mountain.
Taking water parks to the next level is Tenerife’s very own Siam park – people from all over the world come here to set their pulse racing. The Kinnaree slide will take your breath away, with a funnel that’ll provoke laughter and with a final slide towards a tornado wave – it’s certainly thrill seeking. Get a true sensation of zero gravity with the Dragon attraction – it’s one for the daredevils!
The family-friendly slides will take you on a jungle adventure with so many amazing sights – you’ll even swim through an aquarium! It’s a tropical paradise – you don’t have to just be an adrenaline addict to enjoy the park. Float along the lazy river, soak in the wave pool or visit the Thai-themed floating market.
