Thomson Cruises now sailing from the UK

Have you heard yet? Thomson Celebration will be stationed in Newcastle for the summer season this year, and will embark on itineraries ranging from four to fourteen nights, visiting destinations such as the Norwegian Fjords, the Baltic and Scandinavia.

Helen Caron, Managing Director of Thomson Cruises was excited at the prospect of Thomson’s return to the UK market – “I’m excited to reveal the re-introduction of ex-UK cruising to our programme in 2017. This will open up even more destinations for our customers, giving them the opportunity to create truly memorable experiences.”

It will be the first time a Thomson ship has been based in the UK since 2014. And with the upcoming launch of TUI Discovery 2, you can expect to see more Thomson ships docking in the UK very soon!

Thomson Cruises offer a unique cruise experience by combining aspects of informal cruising with the more traditional aspects too, so whether you like getting dressed up for dinner and being waited on hand and foot or simply doing your own thing, then a sailing onboard one of these ships is perfect for you. Offering fine cuisine and impeccable service, meal times are something special. For those who like a slightly more laid back meal, there’s the option of 24-hour buffet dining, or if you have a special occasion or want a touch of romance then go ahead and indulge in a candlelit dinner in the a la carte restaurant.

Evening entertainment tops the bill on a Thomson Cruise, and with a wide range on offer, there’s sure to be something to suit all tastes. From comedians and cabaret singers to casinos and late night discos, you’ll have your fill of astonishing performances. Not to mention the numerous bars where you can enjoy a leisurely drink (or two!)
